Who is responsible
True North Aesthetic Supply Inc. is responsible for personal information collected through this website and its customer and lead dashboard. Direct privacy questions, access requests and complaints to Jillian, our owner and privacy contact, at info@truenorthaesthetic.ca.
Information we collect
We collect the name, email, phone number, device interests and messages you provide; lead source and follow-up notes entered by our team; assigned representative, invoice references, recorded sale values and marketing package status; and copies and delivery status of customer emails. Partner accounts also store sign-in credentials securely, purchased course access, learning progress, exam results, training confirmations, certificates and support or materials requests. Newsletter records include signup, consent, confirmation and unsubscribe information. Please do not include patient records, health information, passwords or payment card details in a device inquiry.
Why we use it
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, assign a representative, arrange demos, prepare proposals, record confirmed purchases, provide device education and support, issue certificates, fulfill materials requests and maintain communication records. Security and session information helps authenticate accounts, prevent abuse and protect access. Information should be limited to what is necessary for these purposes.
Consent & contact preferences
Submitting an inquiry asks us to respond about that inquiry and relevant next steps. It does not automatically enroll you in our newsletter. Monthly newsletters use a separate consent and email confirmation process. You can unsubscribe through the link in a newsletter or contact us to stop promotional follow-ups. Essential account, purchase and service communications may still be needed to fulfill your request. You may withdraw consent subject to legal or contractual limits; we will explain any effect on services that require the information.
Team access & service providers
The owner can manage all leads. Sales representatives and educators can view their assigned leads; education and administrative permissions depend on their role. The assigned representative receives a private inbox copy of customer emails, and replies are directed to that representative. Taylor's assigned sales emails may include Skin by Taysi education and business support; this does not automatically subscribe you to a separate mailing list.
The website uses hosting and database infrastructure, account authentication and email delivery providers to operate these services. Connected services, including Canva for client artwork and newsletter signup services, may process information under their own privacy policies. Share only what is needed for the requested service. Service providers may process information outside Canada, where it may be subject to local laws. We do not sell customer personal information. Disclosure may also occur with your authorization or where required or permitted by law.
Accuracy, access & corrections
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, how it has been used or disclosed, and request access or corrections by emailing our privacy contact. We may verify your identity before sharing records. Jillian can correct lead and purchase details in the owner dashboard. Historical emails, invoices and issued certificates may need to be retained as records; corrections do not rewrite previously sent messages. If access is restricted under applicable law, we will explain the reason where permitted.
Retention & deletion requests
Information should be kept only for as long as needed for the purposes described above and applicable legal, tax, contractual or dispute requirements, then deleted, anonymized or securely disposed of. Contact us to request deletion or closure of an account. Some transaction and compliance records may need to be retained; withdrawal of consent or an unsubscribe request does not automatically erase those records.
Privacy concerns & changes
Contact Jillian at info@truenorthaesthetic.ca so we can investigate and respond. You may also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the relevant provincial privacy authority. Applicable Canadian privacy law governs your rights. We will update the effective date when this policy changes and seek additional consent where required for a new use.
This policy describes customer information handling. Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) sets out privacy obligations; a published policy does not by itself establish compliance.
